Jarvisburg Christian Academy (JCA) is a ministry of Jarvisburg Church of Christ (JCC) located in Jarvisburg, North Carolina. JCA serves as a partner to parents in the community in teaching our youth pre-K through 12th grade academic skills needed for everyday life in a Christ-centered environment. Our mission is to embrace the pursuit of excellence both inside and outside the classroom. We encourage critical thinking and emphasize the learning process over rote memorization. JCA is where academic excellence meets Biblical truth.

Job Description
The Principal should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Have a strong Christian character and a passion for Christ-centered education.
- Have excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and in relationships.
- Have proven leadership skills and a history of collaborating well with a team.
- Have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage his/her time and responsibilities effectively.
- Have a good understanding of the latest technology and how to use it to benefit students.
- Have knowledge of school operations, educational background, and experience (preferred).
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
- Lead and develop school personnel.
- Supervise curriculum and educational planning.
- Interact with students and parents in a Christ-like manner.
- Monitor and oversee the planning of school finances.
- Ensure appropriate safety measures on campus.
- Direct the planning of all school events and coordinate functions with JCC and other facilities.
- Oversee the maintenance of proper inventory of supplies.
- Conduct regular meetings, including staff meetings, parent conferences, recruitment events, etc., to ensure the proper functioning of the Academy.
- Provide for the spiritual growth of the JCA students.
Job Summary
The Principal at JCA is to provide the chief visionary leadership and oversight to the everyday operation of the school. The Principal works with the JCA Board and staff, as well as with JCC leaders in accomplishing this task.
