Impact Christian Church is a community of real people with normal problems, struggles, and “hang-ups” who have found help and hope through Jesus. Our desire is for everyone to experience that hope and express hope as we pursue Jesus together. For us it isn’t about rituals or being “religious” - it’s about letting Jesus impact our lives and change us as we grow in our relationship with Him, experiencing our story through Him. Through the writing of our story, we see our value and worth through the Creator who desperately loves us and is constantly behind the scenes fighting FOR us to experience all things good. Job Summary
The Worship Director will spiritually and strategically oversee and coordinate all worship ministries and gatherings of the church to accomplish the mission and vision set by the Holy Spirit, Lead Pastor, and Elders. The Worship Director will take on the responsibility of guarding the spiritual culture and character of the worship ministry and its staff and support the spiritual health of Impact as it develops disciples and serves the community. Our desire is to maintain a dynamic worship experience that is focused on guiding our congregation to the very throne of God. Key characteristics desired in the Worship Director is humility, musically gifted, and the ability to lead teams.
Must have:
- Experience leading engaging worship experiences of 100 people or more.
- Experience overseeing a tech team.
- Excellent skills in recruiting, training, managing volunteers, and building teams.
- Experience with ProPresenter and Planning Center is desired.
