Job Summary
The Director of Spiritual Development will be charged with the overall spiritual life of the Ranch.
Duties will include:
• Seeing to it that the Ranch provides and environment conducive to children coming to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
• Promote the spiritual development of children and staff on the Ranch.
• Provide guidance to houseparents and staff in emphasizing the love and care of God in all areas of Ranch life.
• Coordinate and facilitate religious activities on all Ranch campuses.
• Serve as liaison to churches that support the Ranch either financially or by providing support to the Christian education program with volunteers or encouraging participation of our residents.
• Work with Bible Colleges and Seminaries to provide travel groups, VBS, camp and work teams at the Ranch and coordinate their activities.
• Coordinate mission groups.
• Train and provide experience for leadership opportunities for residents on the Ranch.
• Serve as Administrator on Call when needed.
Preference will be given to candidates familiar with Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and particularly how it relates to a Biblical approach to child care.
