GWC is seeking an Associate Minister to partner with the staff and congregation to share the love of Jesus in practical ways in Eugene and Lane County. Eugene-Springfield is the 3rd largest metropolitan area in Oregon. This region of 350,000 people is one of the most unchurched areas of the United States. We are a non-denominational New Testament church identified with the Restoration Movement.

Job Summary
While we have a variety of areas that are in need of leadership, we are willing to adjust to the abilities of the right candidate who could lead in two or three of the following areas:
- Collaborate with existing volunteers to strengthen and expand children’s ministries.
- Lead in the development of music and worship.
- Build a healthy youth ministry program.
- Oversee technology, media and streaming ministries.
- Be a creative catalyst to promote community outreach, evangelism and growth strategies at GWC.
- Participate on the Preaching & Teaching team.
- Be the leader, coordinator and voice for small groups within the congregation.
The ideal Associate Minister candidate has a love for the church and a passion to share the Good News with others. Our primary goal is to identify a person with character, commitment and a clear calling to serve within the local church.

Applicant Requirements
The ideal candidate will have three years or more of fulltime ministry experience, a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Bible College or Seminary, a clear call to ministry in the context of the local church and be in agreement with the statement of faith published by GWC. The Associate Minister position includes a full-time competitive salary along with vacation time, sick leave and parental leave. GWC supports continuing education and pastoral growth opportunities for our staff and funds are available on a case-by-case basis.
