Job Summary
We are a small independent First Christian Church in a small rural community in southwest Kansas. We need a head pastor, and there is only one employee at the church. The elected board of elders and deacons and trustees help the minister with the duties associated with the church and parishioners. Parsonage is provided and utilities are paid except for phone/internet. We are hoping to grow the church's attendance. The pastor would be responsible for Sunday sermons, Sunday School, coordinating youth group and weddings and funerals. The pastor would need to keep regular office hours. The pastor would need to help with outreach to the community as well.
