Job Summary
If you love God, love people and are excited about music ministry, this may well be a ministry for you. We are looking for a male candidate that would serve as our Associate minister. This is a full-time position but only half his time would be in music ministry. The other half will be determined by the minister's skill set whether that will be overseeing the children's ministry, outreach to young families or something entirely different. Gering Central has a full-time preaching minister and a full-time youth minister already on staff. Currently we offer two Sunday morning services and a Sunday evening service. We also offer a family centered event each Wednesday evening through the school year that includes dinner and Bible studies for adults and classes for all ages of kids from nursery up through High School. We also have a few small groups that meet throughout the week. Gering Central has been a light in this community for over 125 years. Our church has been richly blessed by God throughout our history and we have been debt free for a number of years.
