Job Summary
Capital West exists to help people take their next step with Jesus. As our Student Minister, you will lead a dynamic student ministry for 6th-12th graders. Your mission is clear: to introduce students to Jesus, guide them in their spiritual growth, and equip them to live out their faith with passion and purpose. We are seeking a highly motivated and engaging person who shares our commitment to helping young people discover their next step with Jesus.
You will play a vital part in assisting and empowering parents and guardians in raising spiritually aware and mature teenagers. You will provide valuable support and resources to help parents guide their teenagers on their faith journey. Together, we will nurture a community where students’ hearts are transformed, and families are strengthened.
Collaboration is at the core of ministry at Capital West. As Student Minister, you will work closely with our other ministry staff and the student ministry volunteer team, as well as support and integrate with all the ministries at Capital West Christian Church. Together, we will build a cohesive approach to ministry, ensuring that students are not only engaged in their own growth but also connected to the larger body of Christ.
To excel in this position, you should possess a passion for connecting with teenagers and excellent communication skills with students, parents, and volunteers. Your understanding of Biblical truths will be crucially important as you share the gospel in relevant and relatable ways, meeting students where they are and inspiring them to take their next step with Jesus. We are looking for a Biblically sound and culturally aware Student Minister who can inspire, mentor, and equip young minds to live out their faith authentically in today's world.
