Williamson Hall
I enrolled in 1988 and—in Ozark's microwave for romance—started dating a girl immediately. When we broke up weeks later, I was wounded. I shut myself in my room, Williamson 312, and shut myself off from people. But a senior from Brazil down the hall, Nonato Silva, made it his mission to draw me out. (In the photo, I'm bottom left, Nonato's top center.) He knocked on my door, listened, prayed, dragged me out to have fun, and thanks to the Lord, Nonato and Willie friendships, I stayed in school.

(now Mabee Hall)
As a senior, I was serving as head RA of Dennis Hall. Some seniors found that PPD had left the cover off the bathroom wall on the 1st floor—which allowed them to climb up inside the wall to the 3rd floor. At curfew, when the freshman were in the bathroom getting ready for bed, the seniors began to pound on the wall shouting 'Help me! I'm trapped.' The freshmen ran down to my room exclaiming I needed to come quickly—until those certain seniors revealed themselves. Sorry mom and dad Brintnall!

Boatman dorm was the barracks I needed for my time training at Ozark Christian College. I moved in alone, broken, and immature and encountered the community, accountability, and examples I needed for a lifetime in ministry. I am forever indebted to the ministry of dorm-life at OCC.
