Face of Family Ministry, and connect relationally with parents and children/teens
Work with volunteer teams

Sunday AM responsibilities
You are the face of RCC Family Ministry
Host Worship Service once a month
Preach as needed
Lead Kidz Rock Sunday AM Huddles once a month and be present when available
Connect with people on Sunday AM, intentionally seeking out ICNU conversations (Hero Maker Book) to create a constant flow of new people serving on the Family Ministry team in various capacities
Support Kidz Rock Team Lead as necessary
Just-A-Phase (Partnering with Parents)
Develop a team of parents who are parenting in different phases who can lead parents either in the same phase or one phase behind them in making the most of their child’s phase. This can be accomplished through a Life Groups, Just-A-Phase Events or Workshops, and/or Phase Celebrations (i.e. Baby Dedication, Preparing for Adolescence, Rites of Passage and Senior Banquet). Meet every six weeks with this team.
Family Outreach (Serving our Community)
Develop a team to evaluate current community outreach events (i.e. Egg Hunt, Camp Create, SalemFest 5K) and determine best practices for engaging new families in the community and introducing them to RCC. Meet every six week with this team.
Explore ways for RCC to continue to partner with Salem Pride events (Senior Safe Night, July 4th, Salem Scramble, Night of Lights and Holiday Parade) in the community.

Youth Ministry (Widening the Circle)
Lead a team of small group leaders who partner with Middle and High School students throughout their journey through middle and high school. Raise up leaders and create a volunteer leadership structure within the youth ministry. Meet every 6 six weeks with these leaders.
Oversee curriculum and develop an annual ministry plan to include but not limited to worship, service and social events for high school students and The Middle for middle school students.
Coordinate a Winter Retreat (i.e. Deep Freeze) and Summer Camp (i.e. WorkcampNE) experience for students.
Small Groups leaders (Tony Spero, Trevor Glines, Dave Thompson, Alycia Cone, John Durant, Karla Gallager, Donna Murphy, Mike Convey, Caleb Harmen, Michelle Olsen, Brooke Giddings, Deirdre Smith), Events Team (Wendy Borges & Melissa Durant)
Be the direct report for the Kidz Rock Team Leader. Meet with this leader on a monthly basis. Oversee curriculum. Assist in recruiting and equipping Kidz Rock team members as needed, especially working with middle/high school students to serve on the Kidz Rock team.

We are seeking someone who will lead our Family Ministry Team. You will be the Direct Report over part-time Kidz Rock Director. Must be highly organized, leader of leaders, create and execute systems, and you must LOVE THINK ORANGE/ FAMILY MINISTRY.
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree from Bible College and/or Seminary 3-5 years of experience in Children’s and/or Youth Ministry Adhere to the values and beliefs of the Restoration Movement
