Job Summary

This is a position for you and your spouse to work alongside one another and personally impact underprivileged youth. The combined salary is greater than $72k with housing provided, utilities paid for, and excellent benefits! The school is growing, and we are recruiting houseparents to care for 8-12 students of the same gender and similar age physically, mentally, academically, socially and emotionally. Each weekday they ensure students get ready for school and are appropriately dressed, prepare breakfast, oversee chores, and ensure the students arrive at school on time. After school time is filled with extra-curricular activities, chores, meal preparation, homework, and relaxation/recreation. Weekends allow for a more relaxed schedule, although there is still a need to prepare three meals each day. Houseparents are encouraged to plan and participate in healthy student-focused activities. Taking students to Sunday chapel service is required on Sunday mornings. If you have any questions, email me at daboinj@mhs-pa.org .
