Earlham is a small town of some 1400 people located about 25 miles west of Des Moines, Iowa along Interstate 80. Our multi-generational Church attendance before COVID was about 100 and is currently about 60. Aside from Sunday morning service, the church actively incorporates a Wednesday evening Jesus and Me (JAM) program for preschool through high school students and various single events during the year. Wednesday evening attendance runs about 120 students and staff. Several members of the church actively teach in the independent Earlham Community School located in Earlham. Our current facility is a multipurpose building erected some 17 years ago.

The Earlham Church of Christ (ECC) is searching for a full time Preaching Minister to serve and minister alongside the congregation. We are an Elder led independent Christian/Church of Christ nonprofit incorporated New Testament church. Candidates shall be an example to believers and unbelievers alike and committed to the qualifications as outlined in I Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9 and I Peter 5:1-4.
Pastor duties include bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ through expository preaching and teaching, engaging in pastoral care, and provide coordinating activities and visitations as well as counseling and any other normal pastoral duties necessary to stretch the scriptural activities of the church. The Pastor is charged with bringing a message each week and being an active member of the church body. He will be expected to meet regularly with the Elders and provide collective leadership with the same. The position is flexible to allow for continued education and limited work outside the church.
