Countryside Christian Church, Pittsburg, Kansas, is seeking a person to serve as Senior Minister who has at least three continuous years of successful experience as a senior minister, and who can lead and support a ministerial staff consisting of an associate minister, a youth minister, and a director of children’s ministries. In addition to being biblically literate and doctrinally sound, the ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to ministry; strong leadership, effective communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to work effectively in team situations; and effective organizational and administrative skills. He must also have a strong commitment to personal growth and godliness and be able to serve as a role model and provide support to members of the congregation in their ministries. He will be a people person with a pastoral heart and strong skills in personal evangelism and pastoral calling.
In addition to a resume including curricular and personal vitae, an applicant should submit a list of references, a one- or two-page statement of his personal faith, and a one- or two-page statement of his philosophy of ministry.
