Job Description

 • Part-time position with 16 hours/weekly

• Answerable to the minister and under the supervision of the board

• Develop the spiritual and moral maturity of the children and youth

• Provide leadership and training for youth workers and parents

• Prepare our children/youth for Christian service and leadership

• Work with the youth programs already in place – Wee Kids (Preschool), Kid Zone (K-5th), Youth (6th-12th)

• Implement Youth activities such as ICTC, CIY , short term mission trips, retreats and camp

• Be a mentor and most importantly a role model

• Maintain a relationship with God through Bible study, prayer and continuing education

Job Summary

Bushnell Christian Church is seeking someone for a part-time internship or ministry with our children and youth. There is a need for teaching and Christian development within the congregation and community. Must be a student currently enrolled in a Christian college in either an undergraduate or graduate program. Have a desire to teach the Word of God to children and youth. Agree to a pre-employment background check.
