Preaching & Teaching Minister

Lane Christian Church is seeking a full-time Teaching & Preaching Minister. The minister reports to and operates under the guidance of the elected Elders. Note: housing/parsonage available as part of salary. Relocation incentive also provided.

Responsibilities: • Deliver engaging sermons and teachings that inspire and educate the congregation. • Provide bereavement support and Christian counseling to individuals and families in need. • Plan and organize church events and activities to foster community engagement. • Mentor and guide church members, offering conflict management and crisis intervention when necessary. • Collaborate with church leadership to develop programs that enhance spiritual growth and community outreach. • This position does not have a defined schedule, in that there are no set office hours. However, ½- 1 day per week will be scheduled as office hours to allow for individuals to come in without making an appointment. • While there is no defined schedule, the average weekly time needed to fulfill required tasks is +/- 40 hours

Qualifications Needed: • Must be able to relate well with leadership, staff, members, volunteers, and guests • Must be a flexible and teachable team player and leader • Strong public speaking and presentation skills • Proven leadership and effective communication abilities • Excellent writing skills for sermon preparation and teaching materials
