     Requirements:   Our goal is to encourage and equip the next generation of children’s ministry leaders to handle every aspect of running a children’s ministry at a mega church with confidence, purpose and excellence. Interns will assist and observe in planning, executing, and evaluating weekend children’s ministry programming and special events. This will include developing calendars, curriculum, and events throughout the year with an veteran team of children's ministry leaders. Interns will also enjoy quarterly leadership training for children’s ministry volunteers and leaders. Other specific duties occasionally to be performed by interns are leading a weekend children’s small group and/or large group, attend camps, VBS, special events, and other fun and interactive children’s ministry outings. Interns will receive one full day off each week plus part of Saturday. The weekly office expectation is a minimum of 30 hours as scheduled in conjunction with the mentoring pastor. 45 hours is a standard work week. Additional days off will be granted, especially after a busy season of ministry.

     Requirements:   At Capri Christian Church, office hours are Monday through Friday 9am-12pm. It is important that you are present at the office during these times so that anyone knows the staff can be reached at this time. This schedule is a blessing and we are privileged to have it because it allows us to be free for ministry activities in the afternoons. Please be intentional about being in the office on time and be willing to work while you are here. Internships are meant to develop you as a leader. The best thing that you can come away with from this internship is an idea of how you want to be a successful ministry leader in the future. That being said we see it as our responsibility to help develop you as a leader. Here are some things that we will do to help develop you as a leader. We will include you in some staff meetings, which take place Wednesday at 9am. We will provide you with mentor meeting Tuesday at 10am. We will give you the opportunity to sit in on a board meeting. We will go through two books that will help develop you as a leader, it is important that you start to develop who you are as a leader and although we have a vision for our ministry we would like to help you develop yours. You will be encouraged to listen to at least one developmental podcast a week. You will have the opportunity to attend our major summer youth ministry conference and see the planning behind it. You are encouraged to participate in summer small groups and youth group functions, it is important that you as an intern realize the importance of meeting students where they are at.

They will produce a schedule for the leaders of Nursery and Tiny Tots, as well as distribute curriculum provided by the Church to Tiny Tot leaders. The Director will need to be able to maintain an open communication with parents/guardians and staff regarding daily concerns regarding the children and communicate any noteworthy concerns to the Children’s Director.      Requirements:   Christian Campus House of Springfield, Missouri, serving students at Missouri State University, Ozarks Technical College, Drury University, and a variety of other schools in the metro area, is seeking a young Christ-centered, mission-minded, high-energy guy to do outreach and shepherding with college-age men beginning during the summer of 2015. We are seeking someone who is passionate about reaching out to male students in order to enthuse them about following Jesus. Evangelism, discipling, and spiritual mentoring skills are essential. Particular attributes sought include solid Biblical knowledge, personal humility and on-going spiritual growth, Christ-centered theology, and joy about mentoring college men toward maturity. A solid grasp on apologetics is a vital tool in this type of ministry, as is a willingness to grow and adapt one’s teaching modes to the learning styles of current college students. We will definitely give preference to candidates with some Bible college/seminary training. Experience in campus ministry is a plus. Ideal starting date would be July 1, 2015.During school semesters, fifty hour work weeks are the norm, with much time flexibility during summers and Christmas breaks. Applicants need to be willing to spend up to four weeks per year outside the U. S. helping lead mission trips and a couple of weeks during the summer representing CCH in church camps. Some fund-raising experience would be helpful for this position. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a servant-heart.Christian Campus House is a thirty-eight-year-old ministry with a creative, joyful staff of six (including this position). 150-200 students are actively involved in CCH activities each semester.      Requirements:   Cornerstone Christian Church is seeking a full time Family Life/Youth Minister who will administer, maintain and assist the senior minister with family ministry programs and strategies of the church and coordinate all curricula from toddlers to senior high students. He will build and communicate a “team” approach with parents, teachers, and sponsors. He will plan and administer youth programs and budgets including events’ staffing, transportation needs and communication. This minister will develop strong relationships with youth and their families and be available for individual counselling and support. He will participate in church services by possibly leading worship, prayer or preaching on occasion. Coordinating community outreach is also an added responsibility. He will need to manage and coordinate shared resources and facilities between Cornerstone Christian Church and Dallas Christian College.
     To Apply:   Degree required from a restoration college in Christian Education and/or Applicants must have a Degree in Christian Education and/or Ministry from a restoration college and a long-term desire to work with youth. He must have 2-5 years in Family Life/Youth Ministry experience with another church andmust pass background screening and drug testing. Active communication in social media will be necessary for working in our metroplex with different school districts so being computer literate is a must as well. If you are bilingual (Spanish) it is a plus but not required. Your references will be contacted, so please have them available.
