Children's Director

Avalon Church of Christ in Virginia Beach,
Virginia.
Job Requirements:Avalon Church of Christ in Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking a full-time Children’s Director. Responsibilities include ministering to children from nursery through 5th grade and ministering to their families, leading Children’s Church, recruiting and training volunteers, planning and carrying out a full program including special activities in the local church and working with other churches for area wide activities. The successful candidate will work with a staff of 4 other full-time positions and three part-time in a church of 350-400 in attendance. Avalon has three services on Sunday at 8:30 am, 9:45 a.m., and 10:45 am. We are in the process of building a new wing that will be totally devoted to children’s ministry.
