Preaching and Youth Work

We are located in a community which includes a university with a student population of over 9,000 students. The person called to this post will bring with them a desire to evangelize to students and adults. With a small congregation of around 40, we are seeking someone who has the heart to minister to a community that has a great need to hear the gospel. We cannot yet afford someone on a full time basis, but the potential is great to develop the congregation into one that can support a full time evangelist. We are looking for a man who has the ability to effectively communicate the Word. Crossroads Christian Church, a growing church located in Shawnee, KS (a Kansas City suburb), seeks a full time Music Pastor with a desire to draw people closer to the Lord through worship. This person will provide creative approaches to promote an atmosphere of worship for our congregation and possess an energetic stage presence. Seeking a full time Minister of Music

The ideal person will have a consuming passion for Christ above all else.  Christ Covenant Church in Beaumont, Texas is seeking candidates for the position of Part-Time Worship Leader.  The primary responsibility is the planning and execution of the music aspect of the Sunday morning worship assembly, but also includes overall vision and organization of other creative elements within the assembly in conjunction with other ministerial staff. Christ's Church of the Valley in Peoria, Arizona is seeking Interns in many different ministry areas.

This internship will allow the student to lead worship for student ministry services (Middle and High School), plan and execute weekend program, work with leadership teams, and assist with events such as camps.  We are looking for someone who is a strong vocalist as well as a proficient instrumentalist.  Leadership and organization will be important characteristics for this intern to exhibit.  While the main focus of the internship will be music and worship leading, there will be other opportunities offered in order to comply with internship requirements and suited to the intern’s gifts.

Drawing from various nearby towns, our average weekly attendance of roughly 100 believers includes a wonderful mix of young and old, with nearly a third of our congregation made up of children and teens.  We are looking to incorporate an associate minister to work alongside our senior pastor, whose primary responsibilities will be leading worship and leading our youth program.

The music ministry at Our Savior's Lutheran Church has formed a modern rock worship and performance band called Small Solution. We have 3 openings in our band: 1 Lead Guitarist; 1 Bassist; 1 Vocalist (male or female). Current line up includes: Keyboard, Acoustic Guitar, Drums, 1 Lead Vocal. Small Solution leads worship at Our Savior's every Sunday morning at the 10:30 modern worship service. The band also does performances and leads worship at special events in the community and beyond. Join the Engage: Service crew during the summer of 2012 to help plan, organize, and implement our service trips.  This is a paid internship that places you on the Christ In Youth Engage team dedicated to training students to be Kingdom Workers.  You will train, assist and lead in the following areas: registration, financial tracking, production elements, project management and customer service.   

Learn under current youth minister (with over 20 years experience in working with youth) all aspects of youth and children ministry. The music ministry at Our Savior's Lutheran Church has formed a modern rock worship and performance band called Small Solution. We have 3 openings in our band: 1 Lead Guitarist; 1 Bassist; 1 Vocalist (male or female). Current line up includes: Keyboard, Acoustic Guitar, Drums, 1 Lead Vocal. The Chief Executive Director (CEO) has full responsibility to oversee Living Alternatives Pregnancy Resource Center (LAPRC) ministry, which includes the implementation of the policies and procedures approved by the Board of Directors within the parameters of the LARPC budget. Maintain a counseling case load of approximately 25-30 placed children and their families.  Work effectively with a team of other professionals including Social Workers and Houseparent. Provide individual, family and group therapy as needed to address the residue of trauma in placed children and to assist them in successfull reunification with family when possible.  Familiarity with cognitive behavioral, brief and solution focused therapy is required. Willingness to learn and use Equine Assisted Therapy is required.

This position will work closely with our families by communicating with youth through the use of multi-media resources, and provide training for parents, teens, and children on how to properly use technology and avoid the pitfalls that come along with it.  

Acts II Ministries is in need of a house "Mother"/manager for the women's Ester House. We're looking for a strong, seasoned Christian single woman who is at least 35 yrs of age; Possibly a widow or retired woman, but not necessarily. Experience with addicts is a definite plus. The house manager or house "Mother" lives at the house with the women, provides accountability, prayer support and relationship with the residents working the program. Daycare/Preschool Ministry: Assist in the Caterpillar Academy Daycare and Preschool program. Ministry opportunities include mentoring under a daycare/preschool teacher, assisting the daycare director in promoting the daycare program, building relationships with the daycare and preschool children and their parents, assist in lesson planning and teaching, plan and teach at least one week of daycare/preschool and assist with and lead weekly worship time for the daycare and preschool children. Other opportunities are available to match the intern's areas of interest and giftedness.

V-Force Supervisor: V-Force is a group of Jr High and Sr High volunteers that work at Camp LRCA for 2 weeks to earn registration for a week of camp as a camper. V-force supervisors get an opportunity to mentor, work along side and build meaningful relationships with kids who love camp, but often don't have to funds to attend without working to earn free registration. The V-Force supervisor is responsible to work with the Operations Manager at LRCA to establish a weekly work plan for the V-Force team, supervise the daily activities of V-Force, plan and execute "fun" activities in the evening for the V-Force team, and plan and lead daily devotions with the V-Force team to introduce kids to Christ and help those who are believers grow in their relationship through service and learning. Other activities may be added based on the intern's areas of interest and giftedness.

Adventure Day Camp: Minister in conjunction with Camp LRCA and Caterpillar Academy to grade school aged youth attending day camp. Responsibilities include: working alongside experienced day camp faculty in preparing weekly activity plans; supervising and mentoring up to 15 grade school aged youth; teaching engaging and interactive Bible Lessons daily; introducing ADC youth to Jesus through your own lifestyle and example; supervising swimming and canoeing (licensed lifeguard will be in attendance as well), paintball, and other outdoor activities; other activities as directed by the Camp LRCA General Manager, Operations Manager or Caterpillar Academy Director or Assistant Director.

Office Manager: Manage the Camp LRCA camp/daycare office during the summer season. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) answering the phone, assisting with newsletter publication, processing camp donations and daycare payments, managing the camp email, sending thank you letters to donors, organize camp registration, process and assist with camp registration, type and mail contacts to ministries renting the facility. Assist the General Manager with grant writing and fundraising activities.
