Frontline Auditions
Auditions are held every fall on the Sunday and Monday before classes begin in August. The positions include:
- Acoustic Guitar
- Bass Guitar
- Electric Guitar (rhythm & lead)
- Vocals (male and female)
- Keyboard
- Percussion
- Various Instruments (flute, violin, etc.)
- Video Technician
- Sound Technician
Vocal Auditions
Be prepared to sing two songs of contrasting styles. You may sing with your own track or with an accompanist. You should also be prepared to sing harmony with another vocalist. If you do not have an accompanist, one will be provided.
Instrumental and Technical Auditions
Be prepared to demonstrate proficiency on your instrument(s) by playing a variety of different styles of music. Have at least two songs prepared. You may also be asked to sight read a chord chart or play along with a recording.
Those auditioning for technical positions will be asked to demonstrate their knowledge of sound and video equipment. Sound technicians should be familiar with sound system basics and demonstrate some level of experience in live sound reinforcement. Video technicians should be familiar with Easy Worship, Powerpoint, and video editing software.
*If you are auditioning for both vocal and instrumental positions, sign up for a vocal audition on Sunday afternoon and bring your instrument. Be prepared to sing and/or play 2 songs of contrasting styles.
