Application Requirements:
 Applicant should have strong communication skills, experience preaching/teaching according to scripture and able to demonstrate servant leadership for a multi-generation congregation. Senior Pastor serves as an elder and leads pastoral staff to encourage and equip the ministries of the church. Resume including references should be submitted, along with a Statement of Faith and video or audio samples of preaching.

Church / Organization Description:
 Central Christian Church is located 35 miles north of Kansas City International Airport, in St. Joseph, MO. Sunday morning attendance consists of an average of 350 people attending two different services. Worship style during the 8:30 service is traditional, while the 10:45 service is contemporary. Central Christian Church offers a broad mix of members, including young couples, established families and the elderly, with a healthy combination of new and long-time members. Current and recent ministry outreach projects include: a partnership with the local hospital and health clinic to provide a dental clinic to the underserved; work with a local homeless shelter to provide meals; a partnership with a local elementary school for Christmas adopt-a-family and other projects; and a yearly partnership with a dozen area churches to serve local homeowners and neighborhoods through an event known as St. Joe Serve. Discipleship includes Sunday school for all ages, and a mid-week Youth Group, children’s programming and adult Life Groups.
