Associate Pastor of Student Ministry
This is a
Full-Time position with
Christ's Church--Guilderland in Guilderland,
New York.
Job Requirements:The Associate Pastor – Student Ministry is responsible for creating life-change with Jesus, His Church, and the world with students 6th grade through high school graduation. Essential Job Functions: 1. Lead a team of staff and volunteers in the creation of environments that will grow the three relationships in the lives of teens, including weekend services, discipleship groups, and regular special events. 2. Create an attractive environment for teens to learn about Jesus and how to follow Him. 3. Recruit student and adult leaders to lead small groups, programs and ministries that catalyze life-change in students. 4. Coach leaders in their personal life change, their ministry responsibilities, and help them reproduce themselves as a leader. 5. Design and manage a budget for student ministry. 6. Serve as the primary communicator of Student Ministry Worship Services.
Application Requirements: The ideal candidate will have experience in Student Ministry and be an enthusiastic self-starter. (ID on DISC profile test). The candidate must be comfortable working in an unchurched area and work well in a team environment.
