GB 216 - Issues in Biblical Interpretation

Hours: 3

An examination of various approaches of biblical interpretation. The course begins with an historical survey and culminates with an array of contemporary approaches and current issues. Students learn to recognize, critique, and implement these current hermeneutical practices. The class follows a lecture, discussion, and research format.
