At OCC, our learning goal is to educate and equip students to become like Christ and serve Christ in leadership ministry. Graduates will be biblically grounded, spiritually matured, culturally engaged, and vocationally prepared.

OCC College Learning Outcomes 

Students graduating from Ozark Christian College will:

  1. Know and value the historical and theological content of the Bible.
  2. Interpret Scripture to discover the author’s intended meaning.
  3. Communicate effectively in written and oral forms.
  4. Think critically from a Christian worldview.
  5. Evaluate their spiritual formation and develop plans for continued growth.
  6. Articulate how the global mission of the Church relates to their intended ministry settings.
  7. Meet specific ministry competencies. (Assessments are developed and implemented in each major program.)

Bachelor Degrees

  • Bachelor of Theology: 5-year degree for advanced biblical studies and church ministry. Three different majors available.
  • Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry: 4-year degree equipping students in a particular area of vocational leadership ministry. Twelve different majors available.
  • Bachelor of Arts in Music and Worship: 4- to 5-year degree that prepares worship leaders for the church.
  • Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Ministry: 2-year program for students who have already completed an associate or bachelor degree.
  • Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Intercultural Studies: 2-year program for students who have already completed an associate or bachelor degree.
  • Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Interdisciplinary Studies: 4- to 5-year program in cooperation with Missouri Southern State University.
