Event Summary
What is The Event?
The Event exists to challenge high school students to pursue a life on mission with God and to encourage and equip those who minister to youth. This event is designed for high school groups to attend with youth sponsors, engaging with God’s Word through worship services, small-group discussion, and elective classes. The goal is to get high school students to consider training for Christian service in the future.
Registration for The Event: Grades 9-12 opens on July 1.
What is included in the registration for this event?
High school students and their youth sponsors will attend three worship services, receive lunch on Saturday, and, for those who register early, an event t-shirt. (Those who register during the extended registration period will have the opportunity to purchase an event shirt while sizes and supplies last.)
PRICING DETAILS:
EARLY REGISTRATION - $40 | DEADLINE: 10/8
Early registration ends four weeks before the event. All registrations made on or before the early registration deadline will receive the early registration price. Attendees registered at the early registration tier will receive a free event t-shirt included in their registration.
EXTENDED REGISTRATION - $50 | DEADLINE: 11/5
Extended registration will be available for all registrations made after the early registration deadline. Any groups that registered at the early rate and seek to add attendees after the early deadline will have those attendees added at the extended rate. Extended registration will be available until one day before the event. Attendees registered at the extended registration tier will not receive a t-shirt with their registration, but may purchase shirts at the event while supplies last.
REGISTRATION POLICIES
OCC requires that all students and sponsors be registered as attendees with one primary contact (youth leader/minister) and an accurate number of attendees. The primary registration contact will provide their email, phone number, and church name, along with the estimated number of attendees with their group. OCC does not require individual names and information for each attendee during the registration process.
*Attendees registered at the extended registration tier will not receive a t-shirt with their registration, but may purchase shirts at the event as supplies last.
**On-campus housing will not be provided at this event.

There is no housing for Getaway. Youth sponsors may find information to book a local hotel at a discounted rate at occ.edu/hotels.
