Senior Minister
This is a
Full-Time position with
First Christian Church of Kimberling City in Kimberling City,
Missouri.
Job Requirements:Applicant must believe without reservation in the full and final inspiration of the infallible Word of God, must believe unreservedly in the supreme authority of Jesus Christ as the divine Son of the Living God and must model the grace and love of God in his personal life, family life and working relationship with the church family and community. He must be an ordained member of the Christian Church/Restoration Movement. He must be able to effectively communicate the vision, mission and strategies of the Church that will spiritually grow our congregation. He must demonstrate that he is able to prepare and preach sermons that are relevant, inspirational and challenging to help the congregation understand and learn how to apply God’s Word in their daily lives. Although he must embrace and be solidly committed to Restoration beliefs, he must be able to embrace the diversity of Christian backgrounds of our congregation with an open and hospitable atmosphere. Our new minister will have at least 5 years of ministry experience, preferably as pastor of a reasonably sized congregation. Applicant must also have experience supervising a staff and handling associated church duties. He must hold as a minimum a Bachelors Degree from an accredited Christian College (graduate degree from an accredited seminary preferred).
