SD 310 - Perspectives on Prior Learning

This course reviews the process for developing a prior learning portfolio. Students gain an awareness of experiential learning theory and improve writing skills. A synthesis of prior learning experiences is created through a series of reflective and critical-thinking writing assignments leading up to the development of a Credit for Prior Learning Portfolio (SD 399). Portfolios may be submitted as a petition for credit for college-level experiential learning.
