Recruitment Services
The Recruitment Services Office exists to equip OCC representatives to recruit
future workers for the harvest while acquainting them with the mission of
OCC.
The Recruitment Services Office oversees the hiring of students desiring
to be a part of the Student
Ambassadors that work in the office throughout the school
year and Camp Teams
which travel for the school. OCC students with all different abilities and
gifts are needed for the make-up of these teams. Members for these teams are
chosen through an audition and/or interview process. Students' God-given talents
and abilities, together with careful and prayerful consideration by the leadership
of the program, determine which students are selected for various teams.
The
Student Ambassadors commit to working 15 hours a week for one school year
in the Recruitment Services Office. These positions consist of the Recruitment
Services Assistant, Admissions Counselors, and Camp Hosts. These students:
contact prospective students by mail, email, and phone; host prospects on
campus; attend youth conventions and college fairs; and visit area churches
to provide accurate information to prospective students in order for them
to make an informed decision about attending OCC.
Application and interviews for the 2008-2009 Student Ambassadors will be
held March 28-30, 2008.

The outreach program has been designed to minister to the body of Christ and
promote the mission of the college.
As a representative of OCC a student is seen as an extension of the college
as well as a Christian leader. It is important to remember that OCC will benefit
or suffer from the actions and attitudes represented by the outreach teams
both on and off campus.

Camp
Teams travel throughout the summer to church camps and teen conventions around
the U.S. Their purpose is to minister to the needs of the campers and influence
them to pursue a life dedicated to serving Christ.
Camp Team Applications are now being accepted for the summer of 2008.
To apply
for a Camp Team you must:
- Commit to the dates listed on the Commitment Calendar below
- Meet the eligibility guidelines stated in the Outreach
Ministry Team Handbook
- Submit
an application no later than December 31st, 2007
- Schedule an interview between January 16th and 25th, 2008
- Participate in the Service Projects on January 21st, 2008, from 8:00 a.m.
until 11:00 a.m.
