From the lab, students can access the Internet and resources available to
prepare lessons and multimedia presentations, write research papers and print
files as needed. A modest fee is charged per page printed.
At times classes will take students to the lab for demonstrations of the
resources available. A data projector can display the monitor of a teaching
module located in the lab, facilitating the learning of students.
The Academic Computing Department oversees computer resources, which aid both
students and teachers in the learning process. There are overflow computers in
room L-12, to which students also have access. Beginning with the fall semester
in August, 2000, all of the classrooms located on the lower level of the Seth
Wilson Library building were equipped with computers and data projectors,
allowing both teachers and students the possibility of multimedia presentations
in the classrooms.
