This course consists of training in the QPR method of suicide intervention by a certified and licensed instructor and reading in the area of suicide prevention, intervention and pastoral care of survivors. Students will learn and be able to implement the three main steps of suicide intervention according to the QPR method of training. They will also be able to identify the specific behaviors that identify a person who is at risk as a possible suicide.
Prerequisites:
