OCCAlerts Emergency Notification System
Sign up here for OCCAlerts, OCC's free emergency text messaging service. In the event of an emergency, a text message will be sent to your cell phone or mobile device.
Here is how you sign up:
Text the word OCCALERTS to 888777.
You will automatically be signed up
to receive the emergency alerts
on your cell phone.
By signing up you'll receive alerts anytime there is an emergency on campus that causes the campus to close unexpectedly or if there is an incident that may pose a safety concern for the community.
There is no cost to you for this service but standard text message rates apply based on your mobile phone plan.
You may opt out of OCCAlerts at any point by sending STOP to 888777 from your mobile phone.
If you are unable to receive text messages you may sign up to receive OCCAlerts by email. Simply email your name and the email address you wish to use to recieve the OCCAlerts to OCCAlerts.email@occ.edu.
