This year’s production, The Christmas Tree Lot is a fun-filled, modern day drama/music presentation taking place in a small town tree lot. A young entrepreneur learns exactly what skills he’ll need in order to take over the family business of selling Christmas trees. It’s a light-hearted story combined with music and lights that will warm your heart and touch your spirit as we approach the Christmas Season.
The Living Christmas Tree features excellent music from the 60+ member choir, an outstanding orchestra, and remarkable dramatic talent from the OCC student body and the Joplin community. OCC’s Mary Green serves as production coordinator and director of the drama and technical aspects of the program,
Scott Handley, Director of the OCC Music Department, will direct the choir and orchestra.
