Youth and Worship Minister

This is a Full-Time position with Burtts Corner Church of Christ in Burtts Corner, Canada.

Job Requirements:
Develop a ministry strategy that reflects a clear philosophy, vision and mission for youth that involves training and equipping leaders. Lead and coordinate various youth activities for grades 6 through 12. These include evening programs, camps, retreats, and special events. Build relationships by personally getting to know the youth and aid them in their relationship with Christ. Work cooperatively with the Pastor and Elders in sharing a vision of growth for our congregation. Work with the Senior Pastor to plan the corporate worship of the church. Lead worship in a rotation with others on the praise team in the Sunday AM service. Coordinate praise teams that lead the congregation in singing.

Application Requirements:
An undergraduate degree from a Restoration Movement college or university (an emphasis in youth ministry, worship or bible is favourable). Previous experience in youth ministry is an asset. Strong communication, people, and conflict management skills. Able to teach compelling Bible lessons that encourage teens to desire a deeper spiritual life. Willing and capable to study the needs of youth in the local church and surrounding community. Previous experience in worship leading and planning services. Competent with technology especially pertaining to worship media. Experienced musician and vocally proficient in praise and worship style of music.

The Burtt’s Corner Church of Christ (instrumental), located just outside of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, is seeking a full time Youth and Worship Minister. The ideal candidate must be firmly grounded in God’s Word, and have a passion for youth and a commitment to prayer.
