DO 224 - Worship

A study of the Bible’s teaching concerning worship and application of that teaching to both public and private expressions of worship. Attention is given to evaluation of current practices in the light of the Bible’s teaching, establishing one’s own private, personal worship, and the current issues of cultural relevance and evangelism. The role of music in worship is studied with attention given to the selection and direction of songs appropriate for worship. The course will be taught through interactive lecture, written projects, and tests.
