MONDAY PRE-CONVENTION SEMINARS

What the Church Can Be

Bob Russell

Monday, February 23

9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

"Many believers are frustrated with their local church.  Since the world is becoming increasingly hostile toward Christianity, they long for a local congregation that will courageously stand for truth and reinforce their faith. Instead, the church often is a place of internal bickering and spiritual disappointment. In this seminar Bob Russell will examine what God intended the church to be at the beginning.  A river is purest at its source and the church was purest at its inception. This study of the first few chapters of the book of Acts will examine New Testament Christianity through fresh eyes. Our goal will be to restore the core convictions, Holy Spirit power, meaningful relationships and bold witness to our local congregations that existed in the New Testament Church.
