Extreme Makeover: Dorm Lobby Edition

Almost 500 students call their dorm "Home."  Last year marked OCC's 70th year and we are excited to announce that we reached our $70,000 goal! This money funded an extreme makeover for three dorm lobbies (Alumni, Strong and Williamson Halls), put new furniture in the Mabee Student Center, and provided student scholarships!

Year 2 will provide makeovers for the remaining lobbies in Boatman, Dennis, and Goodman Halls and provide even more student scholarships!

Details 

  • In 2013, $45,000 for 3 dorm lobbies and $25,000 for scholarships
  • Lobbies get new furniture, carpet, paint, and accessories - an extreme makeover!
  • Funds given above dorm lobby makeover costs each year will provide needed scholarship assistance for students!
