Hours: 3

A study of psychological, logical and ethical persuasive appeals and methods. Both principles and practice are adapted primarily to public address and evangelistic appeals. The student will be involved in research, writing and delivery of speeches The course includes some instruction and practice in debate and other especially difficult speaking situations.

  • At least one full year of high school speech
