Seth WilsonThe Seth Wilson Outstanding Alumnus Award

This award is presented annually at the Alumni Banquet to graduates who have demonstrated outstanding Christian service ministering in the local church, through international work or in other areas. The selection is made by the alumni officers, OCC staff and administration. If you have someone you would like to nominate for this award please email the Alumni Office. This award is named in honor of OCC's founding academic dean, Seth Wilson (1914-2006).

2008:  

Chris and Carol DeWelt in recognition for their dedication as missionaries to Chile, Christian publishers and advocates of world missions. Their compassion and commitment to recruit young people for the mission field is highly commended.

Phil and Susan Casey in recognition of their outstanding achievement as missionaries to Chile, as Christian educators and as facilitators of international Christian publishing. One million books from LATM to the world in fifteen years is to be highly commended.

The Dick Gibson OCC Alumni Service Award
"Not to be served but to serve!"

This award was established in 1999 and was named in honor of alumnus Dick Gibson. He and his family had given untold hours of service to the college in their work with the Finals Week Care Package Committee. This award was designed to honor dedicated servants of the Lord who give exemplary volunteer work to the college and her ministry.
