CE 257 - Teaching the Developing Student

Hours: 3

Examination of the five domains of human development across the lifespan (physical, social, emotional, mental, and spiritual/moral). Class meetings will involve lecture, small group discussion, curriculum development, and problem solving. Upon completion of the course, students will know how human development impacts both the learner and the teacher as well as how they as teachers can use developmental knowledge to be effective teachers in the classroom.
