Who Should Enroll in Distance Learning?
The target audiences of the Distance Learning are:
• Enrolled students at OZARK CHRISTIAN COLLEGE
• Potential students of OZARK CHRISTIAN COLLEGE
• Non-traditional students who demonstrate high motivation towards self-development
• Selected high school students
• Students involved in mission activities
• The church member or individual wanting to enhance personal growth
• The church leader

Can I earn a degree or certificate through OCC's distance learning program?
Unfortunately, that option is currently not available. As stated on the Distance Learning page, we offer distance learning as supplemental to students currently in a program of study to help them finish in a more timely manner. It is also available for those who would like to increase their knowledge for their ministry or personal study.

What are the Financial Considerations of Distance Learning?
Students taking Distance Learning courses will be charged the current tuition rate. There will also be an additional class fee for Distance Learning courses. Students enrolled in Distance Learning courses will be held responsible to specific payment policies as determined by the business office. Students taking no other courses on campus will be required to submit payment for each Distance Learning course in full prior to materials being sent to the student.

Distance Learning courses will be subject to the OZARK CHRISTIAN COLLEGE refund policy as printed in the college catalog.

Students in Distance Learning courses may qualify for financial aid if they meet the following conditions:
• The course meets a degree program requirement.
• The course is taken during the regular fall, spring semester or summer school.
• The total credits from the Distance Learning course(s) are not more than half of the credit hours attempted that semester.

What Kind of Computer Will I Need?

PC Requirements are as follows:
• Pentium 180 Mhz or higher
• 32 MB ram
• Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP
• Quad Speed CD-Rom
• Mouse
• Sound Card
• Internet Connection
• SVGA display (at least 800x600x16)

Macintosh Requirements are as follows:
• OS 8.1 or higher (8.6 recommended)
• PowerPac 6.03e 180 MHz or higher
• 32 MB Ram
• Virtual Memory Enabled
• **Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher
• **Media Player 7.0
• Mouse
• Internet Connection
• 16bit display
